੨੪. ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕਦੇਵ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਦਸਵੀਂ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਸੱਚੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਮਦਮੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਵਿਖੇ, ਕਲਮਾਂ ਘੜ ਘੜ ਕੇ ਲਿਖਣਸਰ ਸ੍ਰੋਵਰ ’ਚ ਸੁੱਟੀਆਂ, ਹੁਕਮ ਕੀਤਾ, “ਜੋ ਜੋ ਭੀ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖ ਮਾਈ ਭਾਈ ਇੱਥੇ ਔਣ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੰਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੰਨੇ ਵਿੱਦਵਾਨ ਭੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਨ ਹੋਣ, ਤਾਂ ਭੀ ਉਹ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਪੈਂਤੀ ਅੱਖਰ ਲਿਖਣ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕਦੇਵ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸਾਜੀ ਹੈ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਪੈਂਤੀ ਲਿਖਣ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸੱਚੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਮਨ ’ਚ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕਦੇਵ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਰਚੀ ਮਿੱਠੀ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਤਨਾ ਅਥਾਹ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਬਿਅੰਤ ਹੀ ਧਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਂਪੁਰਸ਼ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਭੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਚੀ ਲਿੱਪੀ ਦੀ ਪੈਂਤੀ ਲਿਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ। ਧੰਨ ਹਨ ਧੰਨ ਹਨ ਧੰਨ ਹਨ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੱਚੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਜੀ ਧੰਨ ਹਨ! ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਪੜੑੌਣੀ ਅਤੀ ਹੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਬਾਣੀ ਪੜੑ ਸਕਣ। ਪੜੑੌਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਮੁਹਾਰਨੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰੑਾਂ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਪੜੑੌਣ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਪੜੑਨ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਹੋਵੇ। ਲਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਧੀ ਬਿਨਾ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਜੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੜੇੑ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ।

24. The Tenth Light of Sateguroo Naanakdayv Saaheb Jee, Sateguroo Gobeⁿd Seⁿgh Saaheb Jee Khaalsaa Sachay Paateshaah Jee sharpened the reed-pens and threw them in Lekhansar Sarovar, at S_ree Damdamaa Saaheb, and gave a command: “Any Gursekh brother or sister who comes here, even if they are a knowledgeable and well-versed scholar, they should still write the thirty-five Gurmukhee letters because Gurmukhee was created by Sateguroo Guroo Naanakdayv Saaheb Jee.” This is why writing the 35 letters of Gurmukhee has such immense importance. From this, every individual obtains the greatness of the Gurmukhee letters. Sachay Paateshaah Jee has such immense love and respect in their mind for the sweet, beautiful language created by Sateguroo S_ree Guroo Naanakdayv Saaheb Jee Maahraaj. Even if there have been countless religions and saints in the world, none have ever asked their followers to write the 35 letters of the script they created. Dhaⁿn han, dhaⁿn han, dhaⁿn han Vaaheguroo true Sateguroo Gobeⁿd Seⁿgh Saaheb Khaalsaa Jee dhaⁿn han. Hence, it is extremely crucial for us to teach our kids the Gurmukhee dialect so that they are capable of reciting S_ree Gurbaannee Jee correctly. The beloved instructors should properly teach them the correct pronunciation of Muhaarnee to build a solid base so that Gurbaannee Jee is respected and read without error. Without completely reading the vowels accurately, Gurbaannee Jee cannot be read correctly.
