੨੨. ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ, ਮੁਕਤ ਮਾਰਗ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ’ਚੋਂ:- ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਮਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਪਰਮਪੂਜਨੀਕ ਸੱਚੇ ਚਰਨਕਮਲਾਂ ਵਿਖੇ, ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਬੇਨੰਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ,“ਹੇ ਗ੍ਰੀਬ ਨਿਵਾਜ ਸੱਚੇ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ ਜੀ! ਈਰਖਾਲੂ, ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਹਸਕ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵ ਬਾਣੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ।” ਬਚਨ ਹੋਇਆ,“ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਰਾਧਨਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅਵਤਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਜਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਵਤਾਰ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਸਿੱਖੋ! ਗੁਰੂ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਜੀ (ਸਰਬੱਗ) ਪੂਰਨ ਗਿਆਨਵਾਨ ਭੰਨਣ ਘੜਨ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹਨ, ਦੇਵਤੇ (ਅਲਪੱਗ) ਛੋਟੀ ਗਿਆਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ। ਤੁੱਛ ਮਤਿ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਿੰਦਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰਬੱਤ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ ਲਈ, ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ ਅੱਖਰ ਸੁਖਾਲੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਹਨ। ਕਲਯੁੱਗੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਧਾਰ ਲਈ, ਮੁਕਤ ਭੁਗਤ ਦੇਵਣੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ।  ਇਨੑਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖੋ, ਇਹੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਨਗੇ।”

22. The praise of Gurmukhee from Mukat Maarag G_raⁿth: Sekhs got together and made a loving request at the utmost pure, praiseworthy, true, lotus feet of S_ree Guroo Gobeⁿd Seⁿgh Saaheb Jee, “O Cherisher of the poor, true King! Jealous people talk bad about Gurmukhee and call Saⁿsk_ret the language of the demigods.” Mahaaraaj gave the word, “Dear Sekhs, Saⁿsk_ret originated from the worship by demigods, whereas Gurmukhee came into being because of the love of the Sekhs. Demigods worship prophets, who don’t see the demigods as anything. O Sekhs, Guroo Naanakdayv Saaheb Jee (sarb) are all-knowing, capable of creating and destroying everything and all-powerful. Demigods (alp) have little knowledge. The unwise individuals who slander Gurmukhee are like animals. For the benefit of the entire universe, Guroo Jee made the Gurmukhee letters easy and simple. For the salvation of Kaljugee beings, they are letters that give liberation and happiness. Keep faith in them, they will take you over the ocean of life and death.”
