ਦੁਲੈਂਕੜ:- ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਸਾਈਨ ਬ੍ਰੈਕਟ ’ਚ ਹੈ (ੂ) ਦੁਲੈਂਕੜ ਦੀਰਘ ਭਾਵ ਵੱਡੀ ਲਗ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ, ਲੰਬਾ ਲੌਂਗ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੀ ਬੋਲਣਾ। ਅ ੲ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਲੈਂਕੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦੇ, ਅੱਗੇ ਊ ਸੂ ਹੂ ੜਾੜੇ ਤੱਕ, ਤੇਤੀ ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਲੈਂਕੜੇ ਲਾ ਕੇ, ਬੱਚੇ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਕਹਾਉ। ਬੱਚੇ ਜੀ ਦੁਲੈਂਕੜੇ ਲਗ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ੩੩ ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੁਲੈਂਕੜੇ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਲਿਖਣ। ਦੁਲੈਂਕੜ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਾਖਰ ਟਿੱਪੀ ਵਰਤੋ ਜੀ। ਊ ਨੂੰ ਟਿੱਪੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦੀ, ਬਿੰਦੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

Dulaiⁿkarr:- The sign of dulaiⁿkarr is in the brackets (ੂ). It is a deeragh lag so prolong the sound when pronouncing it. ਅ and ੲ never have behaaree attached to them. From ਊ ਸੂ ਹੂ until ੜਾੜੇ, pronounce the 33 letters with dulaiⁿkarr and make your children repeat them again and again. While repeating, children should add dulaiⁿkarr to the 33 letters and write them again and again. The lagaakhar ttepee (ੰ) is used with dulaiⁿkarr. Ttepee is not used with ਊ, instead beⁿdee is used.

ਊ ਸੂ ਹੂ। ਕੂ ਖੂ ਗੂ ਘੂ ਙੂ। ਚੂ ਛੂ ਜੂ ਝੂ ਞੂ। ਟੂ ਠੂ ਡੂ ਢੂ ਣੂ। ਤੂ ਥੂ ਦੂ ਧੂ ਨੂ। ਪੂ ਫੂ ਬੂ ਭੂ ਮੂ। ਯੂ ਰੂ ਲੂ ਵੂ ੜੂ।

ਊਂ ਸੂੰ ਹੂੰ। ਕੂੰ ਖੂੰ ਗੂੰ ਘੂੰ ਙੂੰ। ਚੂੰ ਛੂੰ ਜੂੰ ਝੂੰ ਞੂੰ। ਟੂੰ ਠੂੰ ਡੂੰ ਢੂੰ ਣੂੰ। ਤੂੰ ਥੂੰ ਦੂੰ ਧੂੰ ਨੂੰ। ਪੂੰ ਫੂੰ ਬੂੰ ਭੂੰ ਮੂੰ। ਯੂੰ ਰੂੰ ਲੂੰ ਵੂੰ ੜੂੰ।

ਸੂਹ ਸੱਸੇ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਹਾਹਾ ਮੁਕਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸੱਸੇ ਦੇ ਦੁਲੈਂਕੜੇ ਦੀਰਘ ਭਾਵ ਲੰਮੇ ਬੋਲ ਕੇ, ਹਾਹਾ ਮੁਕਤਾ ਲਘੂ ਸੰਕੋਚ ਕੇ ਬੋਲੋ। ਸੂਹਿ ਸੱਸੇ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਹਾਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਹਾਰੀ ਹੈ, ਸੱਸੇ ਦੇ ਦੁਲੈਂਕੜੇ ਦੀਰਘ ਭਾਵ ਲੰਮੇ ਬੋਲ ਕੇ, ਹਾਹੇ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਾਰੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਲਘੂ ਸੰਕੋਚ ਕੇ ਬੋਲੋ। ਸੂਹੁ ਸੱਸੇ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਹਾਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਔਂਕੜ ਹੈ, ਸੱਸੇ ਦੇ ਦੁਲੈਂਕੜੇ ਦੀਰਘ ਭਾਵ ਲੰਮੇ ਬੋਲ ਕੇ, ਹਾਹੇ ਦਾ ਔਂਕੜ ਛੋਟੀ ਲਗ ਸੰਕੋਚ ਕੇ ਬੋਲੋ।

Soo-ha to the right of the ਸ is a ਹ muktaa, say the dulaiⁿkarr (ੂ) on the ਸ with a long duration, say the ਹ muktaa with a short duration. Soo-hi to the right of ਸ is ਹ sehaaree  (ਿ). Say the dulaiⁿkarr (ੂ) on the ਸ with a longer duration and say the ਹ sehaaree (ਿ) with a short duration. Soo-hu to the right of the ਸ is ਹ auⁿkarr (ੁ). Say the dulaiⁿkarr (ੂ) on the ਸ with a longer duration and say the ਹ auⁿkarr (ੁ) with a short duration.
